From mom:
Dad is improving at a faster rate it seems. He is confused less and less, stays awake more, and talks a good bit. He can remember past events as well as recent events – including visits by friends! He really likes those! He’s getting pretty good at negiotating his wheelchair around and loves the mobility it gives him. No – he’s not confined to using a wheel chair, but is not allowed to walk without supervision from his therapist – yet. He is recovering his upper body strength. Watch out Arnold, you may have competition (NOT!!) We are anticipating a release date mid-February. We’ll keep you informed of his progress.
Yay!! Glad to hear there is less confusion!!! Progress is great! Still praying for y’all!
Visited Wes for short time on Saturday morning. He seemed to know who i was. Nurses said he was worn out from lots of activity that morning. He was definitely awake and responding. He said he wants them to give him a massage, cuz his body hurts. I told him i’d talk to his sons about that. Very encouraging !
Knew Wesley could do it! So great to hear all of that. Take care and love to all!
Just read the most recent update. So glad Wesley is improving. You know you cannot keep a GOOD man down! Where can I get the address to send a card? Love and prayers.
