Random stuff and more death

This post is going to catch up with all the small things that have been going on that aren’t really worth writing about in larger project topics.

I got tired of seeing boxes of books from when I moved and not having enough light in my closet. Both of these were pretty inexpensive at $40 each and done in less than an hour.

Micca and India are either completely tolerant of each other or rolling around on the floor.

I have two places on the garage floor that bubbled up. I found this about the same time that I washed Project Janelle.

I also picked up what I think is a pretty cool weed eater/trimmer/leaf blower. You buy the power head and then buy the individual attachments. It probably takes about 30 seconds to swap the attachments out. I love this thing.

I definitely enjoyed using the trimmer to kill this stuff off. I hate Asiatic Jasmine.

Stupid car and a free lift

It’s stupid because I’m still mad at it.

It’s here. I bought a house for a stupid car to live in garage.

I also got a free engine lift from a friend. He picked up the rest of his car stuff to bring home to Colorado. He had purchased a lift while he was up there.

So I got the Eugenie Lift. It’s old, it’s been abused, it’s been neglected. I need to paint it later.

Now that the engine lift is gone and all of the other junk is off the floor, it’s time to get organized.

This is so much better.

I also managed to fill this car sized hole in the garage.

Then I proceeded to buy another Fast Track section from Home Depot. I found the accessories to be significantly cheaper when purchased directly from than buying it locally. So I ordered most of my hooks from there.

They call me the Plant Killer

I do not like ligustrum. It’s an ugly shrub. It requires too much maintenance. It makes a mess. Die.

Thank you for complying.

Baby chainsaw is electric, cordless and probably isn’t worth the money over a gas saw, but it’s so quiet. I don’t feel guilty running this thing at 8pm during the summer.

It does a pretty decent job as long as you don’t have push it too hard or try to cut too fast.

The yard is looking better. So much different from when I moved in.

So much yard waste out on the curb.

Then dad came over and brought a real saw. It made quick work of the yard.

Not too bad for about 4 hours of work.

Although, this was definitely the largest pile of yard waste I’ve stacked up so far.
