Wesley is coming home! He has improved so much, although he still has a long way to go with continuing rehab on an outpatient basis.
Thank you to everyone who has sent cards and stopped by to see Wesley. You have cheered his stay and lifted his spirits. Knowing so many people are thinking and praying for him has really motivated him to do well.
To celebrate this big step, we are hosting a Welcome Home Open House on Saturday, Feb 15 from 2 – 4 pm. Come stop by and welcome Wesley home. Bring a card if you’d like and we’ll add to his collection. When you visit, be sure to tell him your name – you know Wesley was always bad with names and there are many of you I don’t know – and a reference (I’m Mary from work or I’m Janice from West Coast class). He’ll more than likely remember you, but it’s nice to have that reinforcement! Wesley can walk without a walker or cane, although his balance is still shaky at times. So its going to be a while before he’s back on the dance floor. Hug him gently as he has issues with one arm and shoulder. Due to his ongoing special diet, we ask that no food or drink be brought.

We look forward to seeing you.
