Look at these adorable girls. Aren’t the just precious?
I promised a photo of the front of the house. I have a bad one, so I’ll post it.
It’s not even something that I took. It was part of the listing the was on the MLS. The grass is significant;y less green right now. Overall, I haven’t done much to the exterior of the house right now. I did remove the white coax cable that is barely visible on the front left side of the house.
The entire cable install in the house was done, very, very poorly. Have some shots of the amazing install that was done.
That’s some quality work right there. All of this has been cut out except for one drop that I am currently using for Internet. I will be properly installing coax in the future. For the time being, I just cut everything off at the ceiling. Nothing was done properly as far as I can tell. It’s going to be a pain to pull coax, but I’ll deal with that when the time is right. I may even wind up needing only one drop for coax. I’ll definitely be pulling Cat5e or Cat6 to all rooms though. So I might pull coax with that.
The last incremental thing I have done was hanging a dry erase board. I used some of the money from my tax return to pay for it. I splurged and got a nice 3′ x 4′ white dry erase board. The black dry erase board was another $100 and a friend talked me out of it. He advised that it would look odd in the house as a random large black area. I installed this in the small hallway between the living room and the garage.
Ignore the upside down door. It’s one of the many things I will be addressing in the future.
Installed! It’s already being put to use.
It’s definitely got much more written on it right now. It’s been amazing so far to keep track of everything.
So now we are only about a week behind where I currently am with the house. I’ll update soon to get everything caught up. Once I do that, the updates will definitely slow down as I can only move so fast. There are time and money constraints with modifying a house. I’m learning this pretty quickly. I’m also going to be moving slowly with projects as I don’t want to take on too many that will overwhelm me or stretch me so thin that I can’t get anything accomplished.
